  • Have you noticed?

    That people that are eating Atkins style (low carbing) look alot leaner then what the scale says? I've noticed this in before/after pics of others. I even noticed it with myself. I look ALOT slimmer then 190ish, but that's what the scale says. Today I'm wearing a size 10 stretch jeans at this size . What is it that makes one look so slim while low carbing?

      Maybe it's because we exercise too, so we get firmer and trimmer, but the muscle weighs heavier than flab.

            For me, it's a combo of strength training, cardio (but I don't go to the gym and kill myself on the machines like I used to) and A LOT of fat (for me-this may not work for everyone) The higher my fat intake (around 60-65%) the slimmer I look.
