I started Atkins on 8/26 (last Sunday). I promised myself I wouldn't step on the scale until I'd finished induction (9/9). I couldn't help myself so I had to find out if this WOE is working for me. I didn't feel any different in my clothes and I've been bloated. I hopped on the scale this am and I've lost 1lb
. I thought wow what am I doing wrong? I haven't been cheating at all! Surely I should have lost more. Then it hit me. I can't eat meat without some kind of condiment like ketchup. I was smoothering my eggs and meat with carb filled ketchup! I thought it was ok until I read the label this morning. So getting on the scale was good thing in a way no ketchup for me until I"m off induction!
