What are some of your favorite foods do eat on atkins?

    What are some of your favorite foods do eat on atkins?

    For breakfast mine would be fried eggs and bacon, I love hamburgers from Mcdonalds. I love to eat salads.

    medium steak with a sauce made from the "brown bits" from the bottom of the pan, butter, and garlic.

      Mmmm there's just too many things I love to eat!!

      For breakfest my favorite is scrambled eggs with any meat - sausage, bacon or even left over steak, chicken... whatever! and cheese of course. Oh and salsa.

      Lunch and dinner - any meat/veggie, salads are yummy, chicken wings with Franks hot sauce, fajitas, carne adavada, home made green chili stew or chicken soup... ooh the list is just TOO long.

      Snacks - nuts (sadly lol), berries with whipped cream, avacado's, turkey peporoni...mmMmmm...

      Oh and the avacado bacon burger from Carls Jr... Low carb of course. (rarely though).

      Officially Re-Focusing on 12-28-09.

      Was, Am, Will be: 280/222/175ish.
      Started Dec 2005 and lost 105 lbs by mid 2006, maintained loss for the most part until 2009...then really let go & gained some back... lol

      so:

      12/28/09 ~ 235.1
      01/04/10 ~ 229.0
      01/11/10 ~ 229.0 Grrrrr....
      (Induction= only 6lbs but lost 10 inches! yay)
      01/18/10 ~ 227.4

      02/01/10 ~ 222.6

        For breakfast lately, I am on another 4% cottage-cheese-and-berries kick. It's such a great thing to have in the morning!

          I second pretty much everything Adreliluc said. Add on scrambled eggs, made very soft, with about a tablespoon of heavy cream and about two tablespoons of Boursin cheese? Butter in the pan. To DIE for!

              Shrimp! Sauteed with onion, garlic, a little tomato and butter.

                    OMG..... basically EVERYTHING folks already mentioned!!!


                    Grilled ribeye steak..... shrimps in garlic butter..... salmon with parmesan butter..... lamb roast with rosemary and garlic.... pork chops with thyme and parmesan.... catfish "stew" with onions and carrots ( DH adds some potatoes for himself)... roast beef made in crock pot with herbs and onions...


                    Gosh I can go on and on and on !!!
