oh it will.....well then i will tell you and they can move it.

i used to live in...and currently work in a small town called red bank, in new jersey. the town, over the past 15 years or so has gone through a complete revitalization. in fact.....it was voted one of the hippest towns in new jersey by new jersey magazine. well.....every third of july, they have fireworks and over 100,000 people descend on the town. i work right on the navesink river....and that's where they shoot the fireworks from...a barge or something out on the river. the stock market closes early so.....we all set up our lawn chairs and start grilling cooking and drinking and otherwise everything is a party-like atmosphere. so....my friend jeff somehow makes it into red bank.......i dont know how he did with all the traffic. we are hanging out at this place called zebu and....its a very upscale coffee/pastry shop.....you can even get gelato...the whole nine yards. so, i dont really drink and...we are just hanging at zebu...this was after the fireworks had ended. we were trying to get into this bon jovi party, one of his band members owns a 4000 square foot apartment in red bank. we didn't but...thats not the story. there is just so much buzz...and so much excitement and so many people...its just a good night. so we go out onto the street....and this very attractive 20-something says something to me....she was talking to me but i couldnt hear her?! so i leaned in a little closer and said excuse me...i didnt hear what you said. i did get pretty close....so i could hear her. so she says to me.....i like you. and i just...i just couldnt say anything for like 10 seconds....all my words couldnt come out, lol......then i said 'i am married'. one of her friends said something and she said she was sorry....and i kinda walked away....and one of her friends said 'i bet you wish you weren't wearing that wedding ring tonight?'

and my friend jeff is like what did she say what did she say......it was just very flattering to me because this girl had to be about 15 years younger than me and....she was very attractive. the fact remains that i am married and would never get involved with crap like that. but it was nice having this girl kinda flirt with me.

long story short.....maybe she had been drinking and couldnt see straight. LOL

Did you tell your wife? Once BF was out with a friend who was also attached and two women tried to 'pick the up' (so they said ). And they came home and told us (me and the other girlfriend) and expected us to be jealous but we just laughed. Nice to know someone thinks you've got a catch though!

That's funny! It is nice to have that kind of attention... but better that you are true to your wife! Sounds like a fun party atmosphere there!

of course i told my wife....i told her she better watch out because the other woman out there.....they seemed to want me LOL.....it was just a momentary thing....but it did make me feel good. my friend jeff was there so he can substantiate it, the whole thing......and it has become a story that we tell when we have poker games or get togethers. i am fortunate in that......i have a gruop of about8-10 male friends......we all knew eachother before we were married and we all maintain our friendships now even though we are married.
