OH MY! there's a tax free weekend!?! For my bank accounts sake i hope it's not applicable to NY state ! ..i'm a cross border shopping fanatic! I'm going to have to look into that! Thanks for that tip!!!!

can't wait to show that to my kids!!! Especially the one on the drinks... my dd thinks that Jamba juice is the next best thing to nervana! 900 calories! gasp! same as a milkshake! that's crazy because it's touted as 'good for you'! what a load!

I'd never heard of Jamba juice, we don't have it here..but I gathered from the name of the drink people would be under the impression that it's healthy...900 cals for one drink

Hi Folks, make sure you research it, it seems different states have it at different times. I know Tennessee's is weekend OF Easter. The malls are crazy crowded and it usually applies to clothes and stuff used in school i.e. computers etc from what i understand. But here in TN the tax is like 9% so sometimes a tax free weekend really adds up.

I'm guessing most people here know this, but just as a reminder, if you know you're going out, check the restaurant's web site ahead of time for the menu. Most places also post their nutritional information too. I always do this so I'm not caught at ordering time picking something that I'll regret when I finally see the numbers.

Here's basically what I'm doing to average a 2-4lb loss each week:
            • Free Weights M, W, F 40 minutes
            • Cardio T, Th, S 90 minutes
            • Average Intake=1300-1400 Average Expenditure=3200
            • Low sodium (attempting - it's really tricky!)
            • Grazing Approach
            • Use of vitamins and whey protein isolate
