  • I love atkins from the bottom of my heart!

I have a few items of clothing that are "goal" clothing. I don't try them on all that often. I tried them on tonight. I can't reveal the full details, because these pieces of clothing are part of a challenge I'm involved in and I'm waiting the 9 days left of the challenge to reveal my results.

lets just say I'm extremely happy, so happy I cried! I love you Dr. A!!!

    just had to tell someone...

          Congratulations.
I feel the same way about Atkins. It is a wonderful tool to lose weight. I know I could not do it any other way and we are learning to eat healthier and avoid old pitfalls on this journey.

So happy for you. Here's a funny take on your experience...

The first time I was on Atkins, I had goal clothes that required about a forty pound loss. I got there, and all the clothers fit, but they were from the eighties and looked absolutely ridiculous when I put them on (I loved them in their day). I was a teacher and had a great friend who taught next door to me. I wore each of the outfits once to school. (I mean I had to wear them one more time) We had a huge laugh everyday over the Dynasty-era clothes and then I chucked them out at the end of the week!

            GOAL TWO 213 (personal goal)
            GOAL THREE 199 ONE-DERLAND
            FINAL GOAL 165

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

hahahahaha! I have this pair of pants that still has the tags on 'em. I bought them at Nordstrom so they have that sticker on the tag that says the date that i bought them.....2001!!

I bought them too small, because they were sold out of my size and i wanted to motivate myself to lose weight. I was 17.

Still have 'em, have never fit in them. They're out in the garage in storage somewhere. I honestly can't even remember if they'd still be in style. I'll probably have the same experience as you! haha.

Thanks for everyones awesome kind words!

Well, I want a picture posted when you do. I felt great to be able to wear them again (or in some cases, the first time) but they did look really, really ridiculous.
