    Why not roast your own turkey breasts? I do this all the time, and it tastes 10x better than even the best preservative-free, low-sodium option deli meat - even though I buy that, too!

      I invested in a deli slicer from ebay. Now when I cook a roast, the stuff thats left over from dinner gets sliced thinly for sandwiches for hubby, roll ups for me or really quick reheating meals later. I do the same thing with pork.
      I do miss some deli meat, and will indulge in salami and mortadella on occasion.
