  • Omg, I want Doritos and Cheetos SOOOO badly!

    I haven't had any really big cravings, but today, I would REALLY like some Cheetos and/or Doritos! Just a handful.

    Would it be so bad?

    What alternatives are there for these types fo chips?

    Please help!

      Pepperoni or cheese slices microwaved for 30 seconds or so. Much better than Bore-itos...

        Step away from that chip bag!!!!

        If you must have something like that, Tom mentioned Pork Rinds... good choice, but don't eat the whole bag because they're loaded with salt... which means retained water... which means less weight loss... I read somewhere here that someone made pork rind nachos... induction legal. If you do it, drink a lot of water.

        Now is the time, while in Induction to beat those cravings.

        Calling it GOAL at this point. I'm happy with where I am now and hope to stay there, or maybe even take it down a little more.

          Cleochatra has a recipe for faux Doritos on her blog - I haven't tried them yet but they look fantastic!

            OH MY! Those look DELICIOUS!!!! My craving seems to be guacamole flavored chips... I am eating avocado mixed w/ cream cheese and a little salt/pepper right now... does the trick for me, but man those "fauxnachos" look great!

              You aren't kidding! I'm going to make some of the zucchini ones and have "loaded natchos" with lots of cheese, crumbled sausage, tomato, green peppers and onions and sour cream as soon as I get through induction!!!
