Re: losing after a cheat?
Dr. Atkins wrote that everyone has a Critical Carbohydrate Losing Level (CCLL). That is the amount of carbs that a person can eat and still lose weight. My CCLL was 50, so I could have eaten a slice of thin crust pizza every day or even an order of fries every day and still be in my weight losing carb range.Originally posted by t0ri08311 View PostSunday My husband and I went to eat for v day. That typically surprizes people because they think that the Induction Phase is the entire Atkins diet and that the only way for them to lose weight on Atkins is to eat no more than 20 net carbs daily. So they do crazy stuff like have cheat days to "rev up their metabolism." If they only bothered to follow the Atkins Diet as Dr. Atkins wrote it, they wouldn't be condemned to eating only 20 net carbs daily and having cheat days to rev up their metabolism----because they would be on On-Going Weight Loss Phase where they would be eating at their CCLL and eating more foods than what's on the Induction Acceptable Foods List.
