  • Tom, Supporting Member Question

Tom, I just attempted to become a supporting member but Paypal won't let me continue without saving my information. I don't want Paypal to 'save my information' is there another way to become a member?

    Re: TOM Supporting Member Question

BBB, I'm not Tom, but this issue was discussed before, so I'll tell you what I found out.

You do have to subscribe to be a member, and it will automatically renew unless you stop it.

The way to just do it for one year is to go ahead and sign up. Then go into your PayPal account and open the invoice. There will be a place where you can check "cancel subscription."

That will keep it from automatically renewing.

    Hope that helps.

      Re: TOM Supporting Member Question

I don't trust Paypal, I've read terrible things about that company, like they will take money out of your account without your permission, stuff like that...I don't want to give them my information, can I send a check or do you take some other form of payment? I love this site and would like to support it, but not through Paypal, now I will say, I've not had an account with them so I don't know if what I am reading is actually true (I don't want paypal coming after me), but I'm just not willing to take the chance.

      Thanks,

        Re: TOM Supporting Member Question

I have had an account with PayPal for 5 years. I have never had a problem with them and think they are the safest way to do financial transactions on the net.

Their customer protection policies are unbeatable.
