  • Can you believe it,sugar!

    Hi there everyone!

Just thought i share...i annoyed actually. The goverment always on about obesity and junk food, the advertising of these foods and what do i find in a normal, well what i thought a normal frozen chicken breast sugar!!

I never cheated once since i started 3 months ago, i put on 1 1/2lbs last week cos of nuts i think( although i made a mistake with a legal food i thought)..basically have been so good then i discover this.

Lesson learned, i will be checking EVERYTHING, i honestly didn't expect this in a chicken breast.

Sorry just needed to rant lol

    Thanks for reading
    Danielle

Yeah, you have to be careful with the meat that you buy. Alot of meat contains sugar. The package will claim that it is added for tenderness and juiciness. I went through all of the meat in my freezer and was really peeved to find that most of it contained dextrose. GGRRRRR!!!!!

I've gotten to the point where I buy fresh, in bulk to save $, and freeze it myself. I've actually gotten paranoid & started checking the fresh meat packages for ingredients other than 'MEAT'.

IMHO, once you're out of induction, as long as you're exercising regularly, that 1-2g of sugar you find in chicken breasts or other odd places, really doesn't matter at all.

        The key is exercising.
