What is "rep power" and how does it work?

If you see posts you like or think are particularly helpful, 'rep power' is a way to give the poster 'propers' for the post. You click on the thingie that looks like a scale, and you will get a spot to give the poster a pat on the back. Rep is short for reputation. If you want to know what you were given 'rep points' for, just look in your 'user cp' and you will see!

oh so thats where i veiw the rep i got from people lol

at first i didnt know how rep worked and thought only mods could give out rep points or they were rewarded for doing things

i did not know it saves the thread and topic aswell so when i first noticed i could give rep points i rememberd all the great things those people said and then just whent to find them asap in anyone of there posts on any thread/topic to click give rep

so on there record thing it says ziggy gave rep reason 'blank' and could have been from any thread even if you just said hi good job with staying on the diet or etc lol
