    What do you all think of the new Atkins low carb all purpose baking mix and low carb penne pasta? More Frankenfood or helpful tools?

      I think it is interesting that they are trying that again. They really over extended themselves and went bankrupt a few years ago. I thought the baking mix looked like something I mix together myself more cheaply. And I like using gluten and soy flour. The penne - I don't know. Maybe if it comes in the stores, I would try it. I don't really think baking mix and pasta are frankenfoods. They are not meant to replace meals or real foods. So they could be tools. If we learn to use them in limits and not too frequently.

        I think they could be useful tools, but like the bars & shakes are likely to be used too early in the program (i.e. induction) rather than waiting for the appropriate OWL Rung or Maintenance.
