    My Weight Loss Journey & Taking Back Control Of My Life ~ On CNN !!!

    I was very nervious about doing it & it took me well until the wee hours of the morning to get it right/short enough.

    Then I had to get the nerve to hit the save button, but my "Atkins Program Story" is on CNNiReport !!!

    Being that I have Lupus which brings its owns spin to "The Atkins Program" I felt it was important for me to share.

    I have been working a lot lately with a Lupus Support Group & Weight Gain is a major concern for alot of the member's.

      You're one of the many reasons I keep coming back to ADBB every day, to get my daily dose of experience, strength and hope to keep going no matter what. I see on the CNN site you've already touched a life enough to receive a response from someone who understands. Beautifully written story... thanks for sharing it. That's what it's all about, sis... Way to go!!!

        Awesome!! Very inspiring!!
        ♥Started Atkins on December 8th, 2005

        Officially Re-Focusing on 12-28-09.

        Was, Am, Will be: 280/222/175ish.
        Started Dec 2005 and lost 105 lbs by mid 2006, maintained loss for the most part until 2009...then really let go & gained some back... lol

        so:
        Restart Progress:
        12/28/09 ~ 235.1
        01/04/10 ~ 229.0
        01/11/10 ~ 229.0 Grrrrr....
        (Induction= only 6lbs but lost 10 inches! yay)
        01/18/10 ~ 227.4
        01/5/10 ~ 226.8
        02/01/10 ~ 222.6
