One plate at a time my DH thinks this WOE isn't such a bad idea after all. He likes my fauxtatoes. He likes my cheesecake. Last night he about didn't leave me enough parmesan chicken fingers for my own supper. LOL Tonight I'm going to tempt him with some spaghetti squash and Italian sauce.

Now he's a certified beer taster (don't look at me like that... they exist LOL) and home brewer. I don't think there's such a critter as truly low-carb beersnob beer. SO, I dunno that he'll convert to this WOE anytime soon. HOWEVER, he does appreciate my weight loss and does want to share meals with me. In the meantime, we're developing some Atkins friendly family favorites that I plan to share at Christmas dinner.

What they don't know (that it's Atkins) won't hurt 'em, right? *innocent grin*

What are some of your Atkins friendly family favorites?

    Ahh nice.
I think I may have been able to bring my DH over too but the beer is his thing and he would likely never give it up. And I cannot really demand that. But he has lost weight because we are more active and because we overall eat healthier.
Yeah my guys love some of my Atkins foods a lot too
The cauliflower rice is one of everyones favourites. So is the cauliflower "potatoes" And I can never make a whey shake without having to share with everyone. But that is just great.

My husband is the same way: loves the decadent Atkins-friendly foods we make, but loves his beer equally. Guys (especially when they're under 30-ish) typically can pull that **** and still lose weight, though...those jerks!

That's awesome! It really helps when you can cook your foods at home and have your family eat them... and like them!
It's hit or miss at my house lol.
When my hubby was doing Atkins with me it really really really helped!! ... now he eats everything and has gone up to 260!! maybe I should quit giving him so many choices. lol
