  • needing some general info please

I was just wondering when everyones weight loss began to slow. I have lost 36 pounds since September 10th 2009. I think I have done very well even if I do say so myself
Now that I am 43 pounds to my goal weight I can tell it is getting harder and harder to lose. I always heard the last 20 were the hardest.
Just looking for a concensus of opinions/experiences of others.
By the way I just wanted to say how much I truly enjoy this board. You all support each other so no matter what. Which is nice especially when I have some people in my family who criticize me for losing weight this way. Don't worry I stick up for myself very well.

    Congrats on your loss.

My family got off my back when they saw that I was eating "normally" during my OWL Phase. It's hard for someone to say "Oh Atkins is sooooo unhealthy and bad for you" when they see you eating more veggies and having a bit of fruit and some whole grains here and there.

Anyhow, I took the slow route to my weight loss because I wanted to make sure I learned enough about my body to keep the weight off forever. This losing weight stuff is a big pain in the rear-end for me and I don't want to mess up, regain my weight and have to start it all over again.
