This has probably been answered before so sorry if its been asked but still confused. I know the rules say that your allowed 3 - 4 oz per day and that the rule of thumb is to count approx 1 oz = 1 Net Carb which is what i have been doing - but am i counting my net points correctly say i have 4 oz then i calculate this as approx 4 net carbs using atkins rule - but should i be actually counting it as the packet states 4 oz = 0.6 Net. just want to make sure im calculating everything correctly

    Thanks in advance

    Remember ... it's net carbs.

When I was keeping a journal by hand, before I discovered Fitday and the USDA, I used the 1 net carb per ounce counting from DANDR.

If you're going to use more electronic counting, then you can use the net carbs that the programs give you.

Since you're in the UK, the label is more accurate than it is here in the U.S., so that's safe, too.

However, you're still limited to 3-4 ounces per day.

Right, we just round it up to 1 carb just to make our life a little easier. That way you know your under the limit of 20 because of all those 1/10 hanging out.

      Great question, Janus.

          Yes
It looks as if you are getting the hang of things, Janus
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
