SOOOOOO when we look at food labels, we see that the net carbs are derrived from carbs-fiber= net correct? with that said, if we consume larger quantities of fiber does this count towards a lower carb count?
A food can never have more fiber than it does carbohydrate.
The problem is, in the UK and EU food labels, fiber isn't considered to be a carbohydrate, to it's not included in the total carbohydrate count, so there's nothing to subtract. You can see a label that "seems" to have more fiber than carbs, but it's just an illusion.

what I mean is supplementing through outside fiber sources such as Benefiber and such. If I consume X Grams of this, would this actually take away X grams of Carbs consumed?
I know WW had to change the way they counted fiber because people were having total junk then taking fiber supplements and thought the high fiber #'s would cancel out the high carby junk #'s. Then they were shocked that they were gaining weight while staying within their points.
Sorry it doesn't work that way. You can't load up on fiber and cancel out the carbs you are taking in.

No. The reason being that if you have 12 grams of fiber from Benefiber, you're still consuming 12 grams of carbohydrate (12 minus 12 = 0).
A food can never be less than 0.
Each food has it's own count. Period.
