    So I am following the rules and well not losing a dang LB in 8 days...I workout and I am being very strict I dont know its very frustrating when my BF loses 10lbs in like a day and I stay chubby.
    I am CHUBBY again!

    Comparing your loss with a guy isn't a good idea. Men simply lose faster. It's the testosterone.

    If you want to post a typical day's menu, we can take a look.

      Change things up a bit, all within the rules of course, and your body may respond to that as well. Just as you may get bored with certain routines and certain foods, your body can get bored, meaning losing no weight, with the fuel you provide. Move your total kcals around and stagger the amounts everyday, drink more water, make sure you are getting the right carbs at the right amounts, move into OWL if you are "stalled" in induction, and most definately post your diet so that these lovely people can try to help you......and then take the advice That is the part most people fail to do!

        Post a menu for us. And yes change things up. I have the last 4 days and have succeeded. Are you getting enough water? Drink atleast 100 oz. I would shoot for 150 oz a day. Are you taking your vitamins?

          Have you been taking measurements as well? Sometimes we lose inches (=fat) when the scales refuse to budge

          If you didn't take measurements before you started maybe take them now so you have something to judge future measurements.

          Are any of your clothes feeling a bit looser?

            Thanks for the advice everyone. I will post a menu when I get home but for example today at breakfast I had 3 eggs scrambled with chopped turkey bacon in it and a little cheese on top...and a cup of coffee then a bottle of water.

                Just remember - the induction period is just a chance for some people to jump start their weight loss and see tangible results so that they will want to continue with this WOE. You could be part of the group that doesn't respond to such restricted levels of carbohydrates and would do well to up your carb count by five grams.

                I agree with PP's though - post your menu, drink lots of water, and don't eat the same thing each day. Variety is the spice of life.


                Mini Goals:
                Goal 1 - 10% (September 13th, 2009)
                Goal 2 - Pre-Pregnancy Weight with 2nd Child (September 27th, 2009)
                Goal 3 - 50 lbs down (December 1st, 2009)
                Goal 4 - Highest Pregnancy Weight with 1st right before c-section (February 20, 2010)
                Goal 5 - Lowest weight reached on WW after having 1st child
                Goal 6 - 100 lbs down
                Goal 7 - Pre-pregnancy weight with 1st
                Goal 8 - Weight I met my husband
                Goal 9 - 150 lbs down
                Goal 10 - Weight in Grade 8
                Goal 11 - Weight in Grade 6
