    I've lost almost all my hair since going on Atkins. I stood a little too close to my razor! LOL! Decided the thinner me wanted to look more like the 1980, Marine Corps me.

    Nope, no real hair loss here!

      lol First day went great. Seems too easy. I tried it before and by the second day I was very nauseous...I literally thought I was going to be sick all day. I hope it doesn't happen this time. I've read it will pass or lessen anyway. I didn't know that last time, so I stopped after the second day! This board is very interesting and will be very helpful, Im sure. Thanks everyone.

        No hair loss for me so far. I have a friend who had gastric bypass and her doc gave her a medication to deal with the hair loss that would happen with that, but I think it had more to do with a drastic decrease in calories. Now she's three years out from her surgery and her hair looks great.

          I have other health problems that can cause my hair to fall out from time to time. I have not noticed an increase or change in hair loss with atkins.
          Atkins Start date: 01/18/2010--Now off plan for med reasons, still an Atkins lover!
