  • Cold remidies...got any good ideas?

I found the mother load of being able to sleep with a sinus cold when I don't feel like dragging out the vaporizer or slathering on the cream...

    Breathe-right Strips:

The only side effect....ripping the suckers off your nose at one time early in the morning before you're really wide awake.

    Got any more ideas?

and high spicey food should help clear out the mess.

They have actually done a study and warm chicken soup sipped does improve breathing and help folk get better faster then just sipping warm water.

I take OTC pills for congestion and they work!

To soothe a sore throat, take some chamiomille tea and a little lemon juice, and a packet of Splenda. Pour into ice cube trays, cover with plastic wrap, stick toothpicks through into each compartment and chill. When firm, you can use them like small popsicles. They really soothe the throat.

I haven't tried peppermint tea, but you want to make sure it is herbal, and chamomille is wonderfully soothing.

I hope you're feeling better soon, sweet thing!

Ester-C. I've been under the weather myself, with cough and cold, and I'm taking 2000mg of Ester-C daily. My symptoms don't seem to be as bad as my co-workers who are sick also.

A nice chilled shot of Jose' Quervo 1800 a little salt and a lemon/lime wedge will give you a little vitamin c kick and definatley help you sleep.

I think that zicam works when the cold is first starting up.. I've been using that stuff since last year.

Airborne effervesant pills. They work all the time for me. They have no sugars and no carbs.

Otherwise, wash your hands alot and don't touch your face.
