    Re: Hey East Coasters

The snow is coming down now (I'm in Vermont). It is so beautiful but the visibility on the way into work this morning was terrible. I am glad the snow is here just in time for the weekend - it will put me in the mood to decorate my home for the holidays!

On another note - the Vermont Troops are back on home soil (Mississippi) and due back in VT on the 16th. I am so happy! My friend's husband has been in Afghanistan since last Nov. and missed the birth of his son in January. The best Christmas present ever for her! Yippeee!!!

    Enjoy the Winter Wonderland!

              Re: Hey East Coasters

After the snow fall we got Monday into Tuesday, we had somebody shovel the driveway, sidewalk and steps. The steps were in really great shape. Then Thursday night into Friday morning we had freezing rain and the everything is now ice-coated. What makes it worse, is that this part of yard doesn't get much sun at all, so it takes forever to melt.
