Anyway, were you satisfied with your Santa this year? What was the best gift you got? I'm absolutely happy about the salt lamp I was given - I was about to buy it myself. Strangely, I've never told anyone I'd like one of those and I still got it

What's a salt lamp? Whatever it is, I'm glad you got one!

I got a Soniccare toothbrush! lol I'm pretty excited about it and I'm amazed at how effective it is.
I also got a gift card to Sears, which is awesome because I need work pants like crazy.

Moochie, I love these toothbrushes. I got a cheapo thingy some time ago (about 20 % the price of a sonicare) and I am putting money aside for the real thing... brushing like that really makes a difference you can feel.

My Santa spoiled me horribly this year.

He got me a 15 piece Calphalon knife set - I'll probably cut a finger or something off, but at least they actually CUT, and they're soild enough I'll likely have to will them to my grandchildren or something

He got me new digital camera - A Casion Exilim EX-Z500 with card and case too. Woohooo!!!

He got me the new Nextel camera/video/mp3 player phone. - Who needs a phone to be an mp3 player?! I dunno...but I have to admit it's pretty darn cool. LOL

He also got me Power Half Hour and the Maxiglide hair straightener.

I'm not sure which is the best, but he done good!!!!

I got DVDs:

Pride And Prejudice (the one with Colin Firth)

North And South (the BBC production--period drama. Funny thing is that the giver never saw it before and thought I would like it. I'm very happy with this gift because I had rented the series out last week and was thinking about buying it. Note to Elizellen: I really did have Richard Armitage as a gift!)

The Munsters Season 1 and 2 (Yes, I like Herman, Grandpa, Lily, Eddie and Marilyn!)

A friend sent me the Groundhog Day DVD... and my player broke *argh*. I was looking forward to watching the complete Lord of the Rings, but instead I switched on the TV.. dang. Hope it can be fixed...

By far my most FAVOURITE gift this holiday season was a pair of earrings from, <shock>, the Paris Hilton collection! I, too, am a fan of pink shiny things, and these were just too much for me, I fell in love with them and I don't think I've taken them off since Christmas day!

Other fun stuff included The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie (so cute! I'm such a nerd!) and a season of The Twilight Zone (the original, one of my favourite TV shows), March of the Penguins and Why Walmart Works.

I also received one of those stands that you put your hairdryer in so you can straighten or curl hair while drying it. I was skeptical at first, but it works fabulously!

I think my mom made out the best however--she got a great pair of black pearl earrings. I'm so jealous!

The best present I got was from my sister. When we were young I had a doll that I called Mrs. Beasley (from the tv show Family Affair from the 60s). It wasn't a real Mrs. Beasley doll...I just called her that. Well my sister got me a real Mrs. Beasley doll.
