Basically the idea is this......

Nothing changed. All the therapy in the world couldn't help Tony and his family.

Dr Melfi realized that last week. There was nothing she could do to help. Tony did not want to change and he was looking for an out to 'blame the guilt on'.

Life goes on. No matter if you liked the ending, or loved it (myself I loved it).

I came home and watched it after a gig (after it aired). The last 5 minutes I was actually on the edge of the couch. My heart was beating a mile a minute...then.....black screen. At first I thought my son or wife messed up the recording (haha). Then I saw the credits.

David Chase....I salute you, you got me big time.

It ended the same way it began. With nothing accomplished. Tony still has FBI issues, Carmella still 'wants her house and nice things', the kids, are 'the kids' just grown up versions of the same thing. AJ self-destructive...Meadow...can't find a relationship. The family still sits down for a meal together. Tony will always have to be looking over his shoulder. Carmella will always be 'omg this is it'.

As I said, life goes on. Even in death, life goes on. Sil is in the hospital, Paulie taking a doomed job, Carlo an FBI informant, the only thing that was gained, FBI agent helped to take out a hit so they could 'win this thing'.

Life goes on. Just with a few less people.

I will miss Tony and the gang. Poor Bobby. He didn't deserve that, why didn't they take out Janice instead. haha

I haven't seen one episode of The Sopranos. However, from all I've read about it and this last show, it sounds like the ending was a brilliant one.

From Tony's point of view, what happened was exactly what he and someone else talked about the week before - what it might be like to killed by someone else. You won't see it happening, won't even hear it happen, everything will just go black.

So some guy who was staring at Tony in the restaurant eventually got up to use the bathroom behind him. Tony is distracted by some gal coming into the restaurant and, out of the blue, everything goes black. Hence, the guy in the bathroom may have been the one to possibly take Tony out.

If a movie comes out later on, I'll be there!

Phil gets whacked in front of his family and then the SUV rolls over him and crunches his head like a walnut. Give me a break please, what are the odds of that happening. A bazillion to one.

I can't believe my thread was resurrected! LOL

I did find out from 2 different places that they are going to do movies, so knowing that, the ending was perfect...b/c they CAN'T end it....

I was just wondering hom much damn time they were going to keep on Meadow trying to park...the suspence was killing me!!
