Do you ever have dreams with fragrances in them?

..I just woke up with my face burried in my husbands neck in my dream I was smelling Oreo cookies!!! ...so because I was obviously tickling him trying to find the cookie that was not there ...and it was only 4am ...I got out of bed to get some coffee and let him sleep more...then I jjust could not stand it so I went back in to smell him again and see if it was a dream or if he did smell like a cookie!!!...he smells good but not like an Oreo!

I think in my life I have only had a few dreams like this that were all about smelling something

have you as well ? or is this my own weirdness?

it was so vivid I could almost taste that cookie!!!!

Me neither but I often dream that I'm falling. I'm sure that means something.

darn!!! it was so vivid I am still thinking there is an Oreo cookie in my bed some place!!!


you realize my husband is going to turn this into an issue of torment all day!!!!

OK no one else has dreams where they actually smell things? ...maybe I a undermedicated



my husband just told me "next time you dream I smell like a cookie ..make it a fortune cookie"

Wanna I have falling and jumping and flying dreams ...apparently I am quite active in my sleep ..does that count as exercise I wonder?????

And no, I don't smell things in my sleep! I do however taste things ...Like McDonalds French fries!

One time I had a dream that was in the style of a Woody Allen film (Manhattan specifically). It was black & white and everyone was dressed like late 70's NY intellectuals and spoke in that nervous-halting-Woody-Allen-movie way. It was very strange. Never had an olfactory dream as far as I can remember.

The falling sensation (I frequently have this too, and I HATE it) is apparently yor heart missing a beat. The articles I have read say it is perfectly normal for the heart to do this. (I'm not really convinced, though.)

I still think my running and jumping in my dreams should count as exercise you guys are too strict around here....

I a weird I guess ....

it was so vivid I can still smell the cookies if I close my eyes the way a dream can stick with you for a few days....
