I tried it and nothing is available for taking a picture. I know you can somehow of yourself.....but thats not what I want LOL

Yep, I do.........and ummm I cant tell you what I have used mine for....LOL. But it's been a few months since I've used it....well...almost a year actually....man I'm going to have to dust that off soon.

Assuming you want a picture of who you see on the screen - use the "print screen" button, then open Word, "paste" & save; or another photo with photo editing software and "paste". (If on top of another phot then do "save as" a new name.Originally Posted by Lady_Hawke

I got my 1st cam on sale for $10 to capture home inventory pictures onto my laptop just before my divorce.
My latest picture of me was taken with a 2nd cam which I bought for it's digital camera function only, but only the webcam function works since it got laundered by accident.~Susan

I have one but it hasn't been hooked up for probably 3 years. When I get a new PC (hopefully mine will hold out for another year)... I will be at goal and will proudly get a nice new webcam!
