Do state Lotterys cause problems in the states that have them.

The state next to me instituted one about two years ago they are giving the proceeds to the schools. So far the schools have received 86 million. I just don't see this as bad so what am I missing? It seems like each state would want one.

Well.... that is how they get it passed. Saying they are giving the money to the schools. However, what really happened here in Florida is that while the lottery was giving them money, there was other money that they had been getting that was taken away! Bunch of political BS as usual.
