      I was thinking it would be apppropriate to bring drinking water, to put out the chili fire, and dress up the bottle(s) as fire extinguishers.

      but regained ~20# in '07 in less than 3 weeks! And again early '08 ...Was in HEAVEN -got to 150, for awhile, then got too busy, and gave in too much... and... OK holding pattern "keep it together..."

        I'm curious to know what you end up bringing and how it goes! I have a football playoff party in 3 weeks and I usually just end up bringing a veggie tray, would like to bring something different this year. There's also the typical chilli, nachos etc..that you have at football parties.

          Part of the challenge is for me to bring something for me to eat, without making the hostess feel like what she's serving is not good enough. She approved the salad. Anything else I bring will be a surprise.
