Does anyone have one of these? I played bowling on the Wii at a friends house a couple weekends ago, and it's pretty fun stuff. Anyone own one and have any likes/dislikes they'd like to share? I've never wanted to buy myself a video game system before, but that thing is really cool.

My bf and I got one on Sunday, it's really fun. The bowling game comes with the console, it's got several others on it called Wii Sports. The only other game we own right now is zelda, which is really good so far. I play wii bowling and tennis mostly, he likes the boxing and others too.
I like the size of the console, and you can get online and lots of other fun things. Plus it's the least expensive one in a long time =D

I have one too- I love to play the tennis, but always look silly because I forget until the last second that I can do a backhand, and then it's too late but I try anyway and just kind of look like I'm drowning

We thought about buying the kids a Playstation but are glad we didn't. There are other things to occupy our time with rather than playing video games. We are glad we didn't buy it!

Grant, my hubby went one round of boxing with my brother and he was sore for two days. I played I think about 3 games of tennis and I was sore in places I didn't know I had. I also worked up quite a sweat. It's not running a marathon or anything, but when you are haning out with your friends it's better than sitting on the couch watching football.

We have 2. (stood in line 10 1/2 hours to get them) We love it! It is alot of fun. the whole family plays. The bowling im favorite (golf too). We also have Zelda, excitruck, and tony hawk down hill. You do get some work out cuz you acually go through the movements as if you were really playing the sport.

There have been reports of people getting muscle strain from playing so I guess people are getting quite a workout.

However, someone at Nintendo said that players usually do big gross movements with the controller when small subtle movements do well enough. Once people become efficient at playing, the exercise value will disappear. I guess can / will someone design a game to provide exercise value. Even before the Wii, Dance Dance Revo provided a good workout.
