Very interesting and fun thread.

I am still best freinds with my friend Mary. We met in 3rd grade. That was 31 years ago. WOW! She's in Texas and me, well I'm all the way over here now but we still keep in touch all the time. Her youngest baby and my only baby are 2 weeks apart. How cool is that?

I'm still friends with my girlfriend from High School. We became friends at the end of 9th Grade (June, 1969), but now she's in Florida. Just as it was in High School, I always have to call her - lol. BTW, I was her maid of honor and she was my matron of honor - a promise we made in high school.

Another person that I'm friends with, I've known since Kindergarten (started in September, 1959). We mostly send e-mails. My DH and I saw him in January of this year, when my mother passed away - the first time that I've seen him in about 25 years.

Im married to one of my best friends from high school. Actually we met when we were three... but also went through all of school together. We also stay in close touch with many other friends from highschool. We went to a pretty small school.

I dont talk to anyone I went to highschool with. Havent in a long time either-10 years at least. Ive always said "I didnt like them when I was in school, why would I want to talk to them now?". And maybe its me but I hate having people from highschool look me up on like... myspace or livejournal to see how Im doing or whatever. There are only a select few people from my class that Id even wonder how they were doing (and care LOL).Two of my bestest friends I met in college and we are still very good friends though we dont get together often.

Sadly, my best friend lost her battle with cancer several years ago. We met in elementary school and were inseparable from that point on. She is definitely missed and will never be forgotten.
