Questions, opinions on Satellite radio ?

Hi Folks,

Do any of you have Satellite radio at home?

My reception from my tuner which I just hooked back up is poor, a good quality amplified antenna may be a good way to go.

But I'm considering Satellite radio..aaaaahhh no commercials!

For around $200 bucks you get the receiver and a subscription to Sirius are about $12.99 a month or so.

Would love to hear from anyone who subscribes to the Sirius service.

I have XM and I love it!!! I remember when DH got it for his vehicle and I told him it was a waste of money and no, I didn't need one. But guess who now has one in her car?
I don't know which is better, XM or Sirius, but I do know many more people who have Xm than Sirius

Thanks for answering, Sirius has a free trial, you can only hear it through your computer of course.. I checked www.consumerreports.org and they rated Xm and Sirius as the same and liked both equally well.

My other half says "Who pays for RADIO are you INSAAAAAAAAAAANE?"

But after listening to it for hours today while working, I'm sold!

And didn't they say the exact same thing about cable TV?

Did you know you can get Sirius on DishNetwork? It's included in my TV service package. I like having it at home. Don't know if I would pay extra for it though.
