pace lap What are your hobbies and/or passions in life?
hobby: playing golf with my nephew and talking about life with him.
Passion for life:to find my dreamgirl, marry her, have kids and live the dream
lap 2 Which describes you best: I don't weigh, ever! ~ I weigh between 2 or 3 times a week ~ I am a full blown scaleaholic. I weigh every monday.
lap 3 What is your favorite legal food? bacon and eggs
lap 4 What is your favorite ADBB forum? exercise and chit chat
lap 5 Have you met any of your ADBB buddies in person? none yet, but there are many I look forward to meeting.
lap 6 Looking back at the beginning of your journey, did you set reasonable goals when you started your weight loss journey? When i started I set only one goal and that was to lose two hundred pounds in two years. I have lost a 132 pounds in less than a year so I guess my goal was very reasonable.
lap 7 What does 'paying if forward' mean to you? In the very beginning I saw how the moderators welcomed "newbies" with open arms. I always thought some people had some very goofy questions but the moderators answered them openly and honestly as they could and that is what impressed me. So my definition of paying it forward would be to be as level headed as the moderators are and to help each newbie the best i can.
lap 8 Where do you see yourself in 1 year, as it concerns your woe, exercise and health?I hope in one more year I can be the man I used to be. I know I am twenty years older but I remember the strength and agility I used to have. I am regaining that power with each and every passing day. Thank God for ADBB and Dr Atkins.
lap 9 How do you challenge yourself when it comes to exercise? I always walked after starting this WOL, but now I do a lot of extra exercise and I owe that all to one very special member. Her name is 13_Jane, she has motivated me and challenged me to be my best. She pushed and pushed for me to do more and it is paying off ten fold. Thank you Jane. It is not a challenge any more, it is a way of life.
final lap If you could give somebody one piece of advise about this woe/wol, what would you say?
There are bumps in the road. These bumps may detour you from time to time but never give up. This WOE is the only way to go. I have tried every diet over and over. Atkins is the only way for me. It has saved this big man's life. THANK YOU ADBB and all of my new found family. You are a lifesaver, sincerely Brady C.
