Roving Report ~ This week at ADBB

hubbys_girl is taking a few weeks off. She is moving and, having done that recently, myself, I know the strain she will be under. We hope the move goes well, hg! We'll look forward to seeing you back at your Roving Reporter articles real soon!

Mickkey was chosen as my Member of the Day. She showed so much improvement in the recent Veggie Challenge and that was worth the shout out! If you are interested in in what the Veggie Challenge was all about, be sure to check out THIS THREAD for the particulars and keep watch for the next installment of this Board Wide Challenge!

Are you interested in joining exercise challenges? The Presidential Challenge could use you! The list of activities is broad and you can order any medal or award that you earn. You can join the ADBB group and watch the weekly progress in a new thread that is posted weekly in the Exercise Challenges forum. iyamamaschke got passed by as our highest points leader recently by biogeek. Maybe you could be our newest points earner!

sillygirl's Exerciser of the Week was mitzimarie. mitzi is being quite the little go getter with her exercise which came to silly's attention. Kudo's for earning the special award, mitzi!

Have you paid it forward during the last week? There's alot of good that comes from congratulating and giving pats on the back to someone. If you aren't in the habit of giving a shout out to another member, why not take the time to visit the Celebration Forum and tell someone what a good job they are doing.

ADBB offers so much. From the Chit Chat of daily jokes and ongoing games to the serious matters of addictions and healthe issues such as Diabetes. Coop2004 does a fantastic job of keeping us informed on the Diabetic front. If you struggle with this illness or have family members dealing with Diabetes, you might want to take a moment and search out the Diabetes & Atkins Low Carb Living Forum.

A new board wide, semi annual challenge will be coming up soon! This challenge will be specifically designed for those members with low self esteem. There will be homework but the rewards will be WORTH it. Watch for details in the coming weeks!

Speaking of board wide challenges, we offer several of those now and the aim is to have 6 of them. Something will be going on each and every month. Right now we have the WEIGH? NO WAY! CHALLENGE, ARE YOU EATING YOUR VEGGIES CHALLENGE and the 20/24 CHALLENGE. These challenges are led by sillygirl and/or myself. When you see the sign up for these challenges, why not be a part of them? Invite a newbie to join! It's a good way to pay it forward, meet someone new and you get a nifty award for your success! What a deal!

Here's a quote from the book:
"Over the years, I have been amazed at the way people ignore the advice in this book and devise ways to abuse the Atkins Nutritional Approach by doing it their own way." Read the misconceptions and the realities in chapter 17. Oh shoot, why not just go ahead and read the whole chalpter.
