Today is exactly month four of my journey. I have lost 62 of my 120 pound goal. I have been lucky enough to have very consistent losses month in and month out (knock on wood). I have done nothing extraordinary. I have just followed the plan. I did extended induction for an extra month, but it was a waste. I lost just as much moving up into OWL. I could have saved myself some aggravation. My profile says OWL rung 3, but I am higher than that. I have to be honest I have dabbled with all the other types of food with exception of berries and grains (except flax). I make all of my meals the night before and carry them with me always. I take in about 2500 calories a day. My ratio is good. I take in about 45 grams of carbs a day. It ends up being about 15-20 net carbs. I have found Artichoke hearts to be my secret weapon. 5 carbs per serving all fiber. I do not eat more than 4 ounces of cheese a day. I also drink at least a gallon of water a day. I lift weights for 30 minutes, and do 1 hour of cardio 5-6 days a week. I go as intense as possible. I visit this site daily and participate. The more you put in, the more you will get out. This post is not to pat myself on the back or for "atta-boys"; I just want others to see an average Joe be successful on the plan. If I can keep one person on the fence from falling off, or a Lookie-Lu to come on board, I have done my part. Thanks to all that have participated with this site and answered my questions.
