    Hi Everyone - I'm not exactly new to this board, just been away for a while. I've been through some extreme personal problems for the past few months. I have gained some weight back and have all together fell off the wagon.

    I know that Atkins works. I lost over 60 lbs on it over a year ago. It's just a matter of getting myself back on the wagon and staying on it.

    But I did want to introduce myself....again..

    My name is Pamela and I live in Georgia. I'm married and I have 3 children - one of which will graduate from College in May. I currently work both inside and outside the home.

    I have always had a weight problem as an adult. I have struggled for years and years as to what to do. The only answer I have ever found that actually works is Atkins.

    My main problem is that I'm just addicted to foods - especially sweet and high calorie ones. I almost feel like a food-aholic!

    I have restarted my Induction today. I'm planning on drinking lots of water and begin to exercise daily.

    I am currently under the care of a physician for High Blood Pressure. I am on meds for it now. Even when I had lost over 60 lbs my blood pressure remained borderline high - but now, with the my weight gain and stress, it's way high!!!!

    So it's important for me to stay on and somehow realize that I can't go back to eating carbs. I feel like they are literally killing me!

    Any support would be so very much appreicated. I love this board and one of the reasons that I was so successful last time was because of the support from this board. It's awesome. I have always heard that when things are rough you tend to go home for support - well I'm home now and it feels great.

    Restarted January 17, 2009 @ 310.5 pounds; As of Sept 21, 2009 I am now 243 lbs!!!!!! 66.5 lbs GONE !!!!!!!!

    Welcome aboard Pamela!!
    There are lots of exercise challenges you can get in on. The next 6 Week Exercise Challenge starts this Sunday!

          Thanks for the warm welcome & advice about the exercise challange. I'm definately signing up.

          I made it through yesterday - no real problems. I've just got to stick with it!

            Welcome back, iPamela! It is always good to get back "home" where people can relate to those things you are going through. There is always room at our Atkins low carb table for one more.

            BTW I always thought you had the cutest graphic in your signature.
