    Hi everyone!

    I'm new to the board! I'll start off by telling you that I am a 5'2" female with a starting weight of 200lbs. (Unfortunately post-baby and post-breastfeeding) I really thought I was gonna lose a little of that after the whole pregnancy thing! My goal weight is 130lbs. I know that is a lot of weight to lose but I am so short....my BMI is way too high and I want to be healthy and fit again! Thanks for reading my first post! I look forward to using ya'll as a sounding board.

        Welcome! This is the best place to come for motivation, encouragment and support as we change and improve our lives. Don't look at past failures or the total amount of weight that you want to lose. Take it day by day, pound by pound. Each pound that you lose is cause for celebration. Each inch you lose will encourage you to keep going. It can be done! Atkins works.

        I started this WOE two years ago and its been the best thing I've ever done for myself. Some people lost faster than me or more than me. We are all unique. Don't compare yourself to others, just go at your own speed. You'll make it. Keep us posted on your success. Make sure you read the book, Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution, edition 2002. Drink water, take supplements and exercise. You will be amazed at the changes in your body. Keep a positive attitude and enjoy the adventure with friends here in ADBB.
