Hello all,
I've been lurking around the boards for a while now. Finally decided to introduce myself. I'm Darci, I'm 29, married, mother of two and I work full time in a "desk" job.
I graduated high school at 105 lbs. I was a very thin girl; a combination of fantastic genes, soccer and gymnastics.
Two babies later I am 136 at 5'4. Now, don't hate on me because I'm not significantly overweight. Everyone has different expectations of themselves and how they think their body "should be. I'm not some headcase that thinks I'm fat. But when I look in the mirror I don't see the "right" person. I'm squishy and flabby and poochy...oh my! I have a goal weight of 115-118 which I don't think is too small. (I don't want to lose my boobs!)
I'm on day 11 of induction and have lost around 5 lbs. I originally expected it to be more based on other posts but then realized that I wasn't at the same starting point as others.
Lunch is difficult because I'm not a "bringer". And dinner is hard because my husband and children don't want "mock" mashed cauliflower potatos.
I love reading through the posts...what a great and supportive community! Just wanted to say "Hi."
