Hi,
I've been doing Atkins for the last several months (since the beginning of July) and have gone from my starting weight of 270 to my current weight of 227. It's been a lot of hard work and I've seen my fair share of set backs and stalls, along with times I've just wanted to call it quits, but I've hung in there.
I also work in an exercise facility that offers hydraulic resistance machines, but there is also regular weights, exercise balls, cardio equipement like the elliptical and treadmills, and infrared dry heat sauna. This has brought my body fat percentage from 44% (Yikes!) down to 37% in the last few weeks. So although it isn't happening as fast as I would like, it is happening. When the scale isn't moving, I pull out my measuring tape and see the difference I am making. Before starting Atkins, I had a pair of denims that i could barely get up and past my knees. Now I am giving them away to good will, because they are too big! :icondance
