Hi, My name is Blue I started Atkins (again) after realizing nothing else works for me when it comes to losing weight. I need to lose 70lbs and will do it the Atkins way. I have given myself a goal date of June 1, 2009. I have basically been overweight since my daughter was born 9 years ago (yeh I know). I consistenly workout 4-5 days per week on both cardio and strenght training and just feel like there is this layer of fat all over my body that has got to go. Last year I had my doctor run blood tests-hoping to discover there was a reason I couldn't lose-none were discovered. I am just sick of living like this. I have done Atkins before with great results but always seemed to stop when ever I was getting close to real results for me. Its like subconsciiouly I give up at certain points. Not this time. I wanna see my body again and Atkins is gonna be a big part of my success.
I have officially been on the Program again since Sept. 22, 2008. I have not seen any lbs lost yet but my strips say I am in ketosis. I figure its just taking its own sweet time this one around. Maybe I will wake up one morning and i'll be down a couple of lbs. What others on here would call the Wooshie Fairy! lol. Well I hope to gets lots of encouragement and support from this board. It is a new tool that I have never had before so hopefully it results in me sticking to this. I want it more than ever this time
