  • Im sure you've seen this before!

So here i am,,,,im come to this website to inspire myself to lose the weight that make me so miserable. I had done atkins before and i mainly did it to get pregnant. I have a 1 yr old daughter and my " EXCUSE" of " I just had a baby " is not working out anymore. I weigh more right now then when i did when i gave birth to my daughter.

So here i am again. Im doing this for my health, for my daughter and for me! I get so tired of looking at myself and hating what i see. I dont like to go out anywhere...i dress like a slob,,,cause nothing fits me. Im embarrassed for me and for my husband. He loves me,,this i know. But im sure he misses the " me " underneath all the fat.

Depressing, yup,,,Ive even considered surgery, but i admit im too scared. I posted somethingin the addictions place.....Im an addict to JunkFood....really bad,,,I crave everything unhealthy.

Is there anyone out there that is starting out like me?...Lets do this together,,,,i need a friend and i need support. Im making mini goals,,,cause if i say i wanna lose 50 pounds, i feel like im lieing to myself,,,,so I wanna lose 10 pounds! This is my mini goal till the end of the month. In December i plan to make it 15 more.

    So are you with me?

I'm in OWL and past induction, but I read your bread junkie post and I, too, have the most trouble with breads, pastas, potatoes, potato chips, tortilla chips, crackers, Cheezits, Nacho Cheese Doritos, Chex Mix, Gardetto's, Cheetos, Andy Capp's Cheddar Fries... the list goes on and on. Sugar I can take or leave - it's the cruchy salty carby goodness I crave.

I have a brand-new Battlestar Galactica toaster (nerds will know) that I've never gotten to use because I gave up bread! Argh!

Let's be buddies supporting each other with that, ok?

Welcome, read the book, come here often, and you can do this!

I weigh more today than when I delivered my baby too - that is awful, isn't it? (Especially as she's 6 years old now!) A real eye-opener, I know. You sound pretty disgusted with yourself, and I totally understand that.

Posting on this site is going to give you lots of support. What you have proclaimed here in your introduction is a great start! Please give yourself credit for taking these steps to change how you look & feel! You have done Atkins before, so you know that if you give yourself a chance, you WILL lose the 10 pounds you've set as your mini-goal. Your baby girl is a great motivation and inspiration to stick-to-it too.

Welcome to the board and I hope to hear more from you soon!
