Hello there Meeka... welcome! Nice to have you with us.

Why not tell us a little about yourself... do you have a lot to lose or just a bit? Have you done Atkins before? Have you started already?

    Happy Atkineering!

      Re: Hello everyone!

      Hello,
Well I'm 5'2 and weigh 157 pounds. My goal is weight is 135. I just started introduction on 12/2/2008.

I've never done Atkins before, but I'm very excited. I really started to let myself (body) get out of control so I had to do something. I'm just worried that I'm not doing it right. I found out today that the book I have "Atkins Essentials" is not the best book to have.

Well that's great that you don't have a huge amount to lose, and you're so right to nip the gain in the bud before it really gets out of hand.

As for the book, the one we go by here is Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (2002 edition) as that was the last one Dr A wrote in its entirety before his death, so hasn't had anyone else messing around with it.
In the meantime, take a look at the stickies in the Induction Forum and at the FAQs. Lots of info there to get you started.
