  • Hi

My name is Sahilitu and I joined Atkins Diet Program today. I have been in another high protein diet program before and I lost 20 pound and I ‘m hoping this program will work for me.. I heard from co-worker who's already in Atkins diet program and she lost 7 pound on her first week. I need some kind of guidance on my first two weeks from you if you can help to succeed my goal.

    Hi, sraklis

    Welcome to ADBB!

As for help, I'd like for you to click on this link if you haven't read it yet. It's some information I put together for those who are starting/re-starting the Atkins WOE (way of eating). http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...-new-read.html

It is important to understand that Atkins is a high fat, moderate protein, low carb way of eating. (not high protein) Read as much as you can about the plan... it really is more effective when done as outlined by Dr. Atkins. This board is based upon the 2002 edition of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR for short). If you haven't read it yet, try to get your hands on one soon. In the mean time, explore all of the links I provide in the information I pointed you to above. And make sure to read the "stickies" at the top of the forums.

    Good luck to you.

Hello Sahilitu! Welcome to ADBB. I agree with Mitzi. It is helpful to start learning as much as you can because you will have lots of questions. The book lays it out in an easy to understand way so that you will find it easier to remember.
