  • New to Site, Not so Much Atkins

    Hello all!

I am 27, living in Indiana and a wife (and hopefully a mom someday!!!). I started Atkins April of 2008. I lost about 50 lbs from April to August. I did great until November, when I had knee surgery. It was hard to stand up and cook, so I just ate things in moderation, but went up a bit in my carbs. I have recently stopped smoking and have been stressed with work, and in the last few months have gained 10 lbs. Which sucks! So I am getting at Atkins really hard core again. I am looking forward to meeting people, using this forum and keeping on track.

    Thanks everyone!

it's great to see that you had success by eating the atkins plan for better living and health! 50 pounds is a great loss and i'll bet you'll have that kind of success again.. it's also good that you took matters into hand with only that 10 pound gain and didn't wait for it to be 20 or 30 .
