  • I fell off the wagon, but now I am back and heading to Hawaii in 38 days!

So I never thought I would be saying this, but I am re-starting and on my way again. I did the atkins diet in 2007 and lost 50+ lbs and now I have also gained all of it back! I jumped on the scale the other day and almost say the big scary 200... almost 199. It was a turning point and I do not want to gain anymore weight back. I look back and think I worked to hard and too long the first time to go all the way back to ground zero! I have tried to get back on the wagon a couple of times however, I could not find the motivation or support. I am glad that I found this site to help me out and keep me accountable. Also I just found out that I am going to Hawaii for the first time in September! I want to be able to wear a bathingsuit and look decent and not miss out on snorkling because I am embrassed...

I am ready to start again! and not look back!

Wow, a CR250, pretty impressive, I've never had the guts to ride a dirtbike. I keep my motorcycles on pavement.

I did race SnoX (motox only with snowmobiles) back in highschool though and a Banshee during the summers.

Your story sounds just like mine only I was fast approaching 300. This seems to be the only diet that works for me. I've been able to lose over 50 lbs in less than 4 months twice before. My goal this time is 80 lbs in 6 months. After 11 weeks I am half way there. Good luck on your quest.

I gather you ride motorcycles. What bike(s) do you ride?
