Hehehe Its actually Salam Aleikum without the "wa" cause "wa" weans "and" its like saying Peace "and" to you-- which doesnt make sense.

No idea. I took Turkish in high school... that's why I know what "merhaba" means (the OP's name is Mohammed). Never heard "Salam wa aleikum" though.

Turkish is fun! Ive been to Turkey in the summer and let me tell you its an Atkin's Paradise. Their food is so tasty, full of protein, and few carbs. Really easy to start Atkins there.

As for the cream cheese spread, yes SUGAR is listed as an ingredient.

The Applebees post is a real shocker! Really am shocked! Ill make sure I eat something that I KNOW next time, like Lebanese or Arabic foods which I know doesnt have sugar in it.

Yes, In Farsi they say Salam aleikum,
so I am familar to the phrase without the "wa".

It was a typo! Cause he meant salam"o" alaykom, the "o" is just an accent which is on top of the M, not strong enough to be another letter. Its used in formal Arabic.

Really hope it makes sense, cause it can get complicated. In Farsi its the same, cause this the greeting in Islam, I think its world-wide.

Its like saying How y'all doing? Y'all is really slang, but in formal English you say you all. I know its a bad example but I hope its sort of clear.
