        Re: Back after several years!

        Welcome to the Atkins Board.

Glad you found the board and are excited about starting the plan. Congrats on getting through school, hopefully your life will settle down to a regular schedule now.

Make sure you read the book - it will give you the knowledge you need to get to your goal. If you can’t find a copy of the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR) locally check online at www.half.com or www.amazon.com.

Plan your meals for a fews days so you have everything in your home and you won’t be tempted to eat something not allowed. Eat only foods listed on the acceptable food list and eat a variety of foods and vegetables. http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What foods can be eaten on Induction?) (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)

Drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin daily. Look at the challenges to see if there is anything that interests you - start a journal, it's a great place to get everything out in the open, be accountable to yourself - you'll also meet some great people there! http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...journal-chats/. There’s something for everyone here!

Check Linda's recipe site it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html. If you need anything we’re here to help you!!

        Good luck to you!
        Carole

Planning will help you avoid this.

And are those net carbs or total carbs?
