Do you know why it's not allowed?

What in the list of ingredients isn't allowed on Atkins?

Cod, water, onions, vegetable oil, and salt are all legal.

You want to be careful of any "food" that's only 51% of something ... that means there's 49% of something else.

It's not a matter of being "dumb", I doubt you're that! ... it's just inexperience with Atkins.

You learned something today ... and that's not "dumb".

Fish balls huh? I've caught many a fish in my day and I have to say I've never seen balls on any of them. Guess I'm only catching the females.

Slim-me -- you don't need bars or shakes, as a matter of fact they slow weight loss in many people so it's best to avoid them. Try eating fresh foods - not overly processed foods. Do you have a copy of the book or what are you using to figure out what you should and should not be eating? It's best to have a copy of the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution book so you can reference back to it when you have questions.

You should be eating only foods listed on the acceptable food list http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html, eating a variety of foods and vegetables and count all “net carbs” (carb minus fiber equal net carbs).

Plan your meals for a few days so you have everything legal in your home. Pack your lunch so you are tempted to eat something you shouldn't. Make sure you drink plenty of pure water daily - 64 ounces is what is suggested, more is better.

                    Good luck to you.
                    Carole
