Hi! I'm mostly a lurker around here, but I wanted somewhere to brag!
Since starting almost 3 months, ago, here's how my levels have changed:
Total Cholesterol has improved from 230 to 145
Triglycerides: 176 to 72
LDL 148 to 96
HDL 47 to 35
Fast BS: 107
And I FEEL GREAT! Now if I could just get my wife to stop knocking Atkins! She absolutely HATES that I'm on this WOE and WOL! She still resents that I can't have Pizza, Pasta, Bread and Potatoes! I miss them somewhat, but after this news, I'm not changing!
Even my doctor doesn't think this WOL will last, but said to keep up what I was doing! (he believes we should just do a lower carb version of the ADA diet as does my wife!).
