An Ah-Ha Moment
I really had an "ah-ha" moment this morning as I was shopping for dog food at my local Petco. Now, I know that having a revelation about weight loss in the pet store seems a bit strange but this is what happened. I walked back to the shelf for our usual bag of dog food, picked it up, carried it around the store and out to my truck. Now, when I had laid the food on the seat I was relieved because it was so heavy and cumbersome and I was glad to put it down. Then it hit me; that bag weighed 25lbs; the exact amount I have lost on Atkins, so far!!! No wonder I was tired all of the time...I was carrying around all of this extra weight all day/every day. I just kept looking at that bag of dog food and thinking about how heavy it was to carry for such a short time/distance today. I can't wait to lose more weight and lay down more of my burden!Tags: None
