At work today, 12 hour shift. I get home so late that I never feel like cooking that late, so I brought all my food with me to work. I did so much cooking/grilling this weekend that I have plenty of ready to eat food and I packed my lunch last night so I wouldn't have to think about it this morning. Like I said, it's all about planning.
My supervisor also started a new diet this weekend, and while she is doing Slimgenics, we have decided to keep each other on track. It helps to have a support system. Lack of support can be difficult with Atkins, so many people hear that you are on Atkins and they are uneducated. . . Atkins is so unhealthy, etc. This time around, I'm only telling people that I know will be supportive. Last time I tried Atkins I got so tired of defending myself.
I had something else I was going to post today, but I don't remember what it was now. Oh well, I will either remember it or it wasn't that important.
Today's Food
B: Broccoli Quiche - eggs, heavy cream, broccoli, cheese. Coffee w/heavy cream.
L: Caesar Salad - grilled chicken, 2 cups salad, shredded parmesan cheese, caesar dressing
D: Chuck steak, grilled zucchini/yellow squash
